Cops Called On Man Practicing His Open Carry Gun Rights

Security guards from the Shops at Mission Viejo near 27000 Crown Valley Parkway, asked police for assistance after a man was seen practicing his open carry rights at the mall's food court.
The citizen assist report was made around 12:13 p.m. Saturday. No arrests were reported.

Burglary report. 8:06 a.m. Tuesday. Trabuco Road and Alicia Parkway.
Disturbance. 12:09 a.m. Tuesday. 26500 block Brandon. A 21-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody at Orange County Jail on $20,000 bail.

Disturbance-family dispute. 6:13 p.m. Monday. 26600 block Dorothea. Sheriff deputies responding to a disturbance call arrested a 25-year-old man and took him into custody at Orange County Jail where he was cited and released.
Follow up report. 8:42 a.m. Monday. 27100 block Via Aurora. A 21-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody at Central Men's Jail on $5,000 bail.
Suspicious person/circumstances. 12:04 a.m. Monday. 27700 block Calle Valdes. A caller said they heard a gunshot and saw shadows moving at an easement behind the location.
Suspicious person/circumstances. 8:52 p.m. Sunday. 27900 block Sheffield. A caller reported a man that was laying on the sidewalk for more than 30 minutes.
Prowler. 12:40 a.m. Sunday. 27800 block of Colonial. A resident said they could hear thumping sounds coming from the front of their home, adding that it was periodic.
Suspicious person/circumstances. 7:45 p.m. Saturday. 23900 block Alicia Parkway. A 50-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody at Orange County Jail where he was cited and released after people reported him bothering them.
Traffic stop. 2:12 p.m. Saturday. Oso Parkway and Marguerite Parkway. A 21-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and was taken into custody at Orange County Jail where he was released under his own recognizance.
Burglary report. 7:23 a.m. Saturday. 27400 block Sereno. A caller said someone stole two high-end mountain bikes and a vehicle from their garage.
Traffic stop. 1:11 a.m. Saturday. 25600 block Po Avenue. A 22-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and was taken into custody at Orange County Jail where he was cited and released.
Vandalism in progress. 11:08 p.m. Friday. 27700 block Santa Margarita Parkway. A caller reported two drunken boys that he chased after upon seeing them vandalize a planter in front of his shop.
Suspicious person in vehicle. 8:23 p.m. Friday. 27200 block Los Altos. Police responding to a suspicious person report arrested a 28-year-old woman and took her into custody at Orange County Jail with no bail set.
