High Flying Fun with "Up in the Air" Event

Mission Viejo's salute to all things airborne is returning March 3.

"Up in the Air," an event that combines disc-catching dogs, kites, bird shows and various skyward treats, returns to Mission Viejo on Saturday, March 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

It's a free event that features rocket crafts, remote-controlled planes, bubbles, balloons and just about anything that goes up.

Here's what Cathy Allen of the Mission Viejo Activities Committee has to say about the big day:

This fun event will include professional kite flyers, disc dog shows, various flying contests, bird shows, nonprofit food booths, children’s crafts, carnival games, stiltwalker, juggler, exhibitors, and entertainment. For a schedule of events and listing of activities taking place, visit www.mvactivities.com or call 949-830-7066. Don’t forget – Admission is FREE!
