"My favorite part of the Karaoke party is being able to set up the equipment like the microphones and televisions," Fessler said.

The karaoke party originally started five years ago when Vocational Visions was looking for new activities for their clients.

"I suggest we try karaoke," Mission Viejo resident and volunteer Tina Neukirch said, "I always wanted to be a rock star and here I can make my dream a reality."

The House of Champions Clubhouse is designed for clients to meet regularly for special events, games, computer time and socializing. Clenney thinks up a new and unique event for every Friday gathering.
