Possible Police Chase Reported On Muirlands
A Camry was smashed in Mission Viejo and several police cars surrounded it on Muirlands. Did you see what happened?
What are all those police vehicles doing on Muirlands, and what's with the Camry with a smashed left side?
Many questions remain, but something drew at least six squad cars, two police SUVs, a motorcycle and a helicopter out to the neighborhood of Muirlands and Turf Avenue around 1:30 p.m., said citizen journalist MaryAnne Shults.
Although they didn't say much, police on the scene told Schults there was a chase that started in north Mission Viejo.

A call to the Orange County Sheriff's Department at 2:40 p.m. got no response from the watch commander, who asked to call back in a half-hour.
