A pedestrian killed on Alicia Parkway 11 days ago has yet to be identified by the Orange County Sheriff's Department Coroner's Office.

It's been 11 days since a 39-year-old man was struck and killed on Alicia Parkway just east of Alicia Park. He was struck by multiple vehicles on that dark and rainy Friday morning.

His death is being investigated by the OCSD's Major Accident Reconstruction Team.

Sometimes these investigations take several months to complete, said OCSD Sgt. Yvonne Shull.

There are witnesses to interview, including the drivers, Shull said. The collision has to be investigated as well, she said.

The Coroner's Office typically withholds the identity of a dead person until family of the deceased has been notified.

So they never were able to identify the man? That's very, very sad.

How do they know his age without an ID?
