Rescued Cats Need New Homes

Two cats, both rescued by Good Samaritans, are now available for adoption at The Pet Rescue Center in Mission Viejo

This week, we are featuring two cats currently available for adoption at The Pet Rescue Center in Mission Viejo.  Both cats were rescued by good Samaritans and are now looking for their forever homes.

Hello! My name is Dhalia! I am a 2-year-old, spayed, domestic short hair cat. In my previous life, I was found after my sister and I had been thrown out of a truck and literally landed on the doorstep of our rescuer. My sister was able to get adopted out of the veterinary hospital where we recovered. But, since I am all black, I had a harder time finding a new family. I am very playful, very pretty, and very affectionate. I will need someone to spend time with me because I really enjoy the company of others. Before I was began my stay with The Pet Rescue Center, I actually liked to go in the car and enjoyed every second of it! I am already spayed, up to date with shots, micro-chipped, and am good with kids, good with dogs, and good with other cats. Please come check me out and see if I might be your special girl!

Hi! My name is Pink! I was brought into The Pet Rescue Center after my family had moved and left me in their apartment complex. I was very pregnant at the time. Within one week I had three healthy, beautiful female babies. I was such a good momma and patient with the staff at the rescue. I love affection and greet everyone with a happy tail. Now that my babies are grown and have all found their forever homes, I am enjoying my freedom and playtime very much. I love getting all the attention I can. I love to cuddle and will purr for hours! I am only about 2 years old and absolutely darling! I have been spayed, micro-chipped and updated on shots. I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and am good with kids, good with dogs, and good with other cats. Please come meet me and see how sweet and beautiful I am in person!

All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match for the pet and for the interested family. Pets are visited by appointment only, but times are flexible. Please email Casey Oliver, Director of Operations, at The Pet Rescue Center, at adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. The adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies, and boarding while the animals are in their care.
