Culver City Firm Wins Engineering Excellence Award

Sacramento, CA – M-E Engineers, Inc. of Culver City has received an Honor Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of California (ACECCA) for their work on the Contemporary Arts Center, University of California Irvine in Irvine, CA.

The high-performance building required MEP systems to accommodate a broad range of complex space program needs and used innovative strategies for energy efficiency. It has a mix of fully conditioned and naturally ventilated areas, with specialized theater and media support spaces that required precise environmental, lighting and acoustic controls. The Center is on track to be awarded LEED Platinum certification.

M-E Engineers, Inc. will be honored at the 2014 EEA Banquet held on February 3 in Sacramento.  Registration:  ACECCA 2014 EEA Banquet Event
