Everyone should know that my brother-in-law, Daniel Avery, regular contributing writer to the "Patch," was recognized and awarded by the Orange County Press Club for his written blogs regarding certain therapeutic steps he took when his sister was murdered; steps which also paralleled those of a certain UCI professor regarding a similar occurrence in his family.
