Folsom Firm Wins Engineering Excellence Award

Sacramento, CA – IDS Group, Inc. of Irvine has received an Honor Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of California (ACECCA)  for their work on the John Wayne Airport, Airport Improvement Program in Orange County, CA.

As the cornerstone of this multi-year project, the new facilities, which include a new terminal, a parking structure and a central utility plan, truly exemplify John Wayne Airport’s theme: "Building on Excellence", that resulted in state-of-the-art new facilities with improved services and convenience to passengers and brought significant economic benefits to California. IDS Group, the structural-engineer-of-record, introduced several innovations in the structural and seismic design that distinguished this project. The project was delivered on time and under budget and exceeded the owner’s expectation.
