For those of you who occasionally venture north of the Orange Curtain, consider this:
On August 22, 2013 (tonight), at 7:00 P.M., at Burton Chace Park, in Marina Del Rey, the Culver City Symphony Orchestra will perform a concert; a tribute to Russian Composers. If you would like to attend, pack your picnic basket, grab a blanket and load your ice chest (don't forget the vino) and head up the 405 to the 90 to Marina Del Rey. I recommend arriving by 6:00P.M. For additional information just google Burton Chace Park and review the posted activities. My wife and I like to park at "Fisherman's Village" and then take the water taxi (1$ a piece each way), directly to the park, where a pleasant grassy knoll awaits those seeking to stake out their claim for seating. I promise you will not be disappointed. If you do not want to sit on the ground, bring your folding chair.
