In The Lorax to impress a local environmentalist named, Audrey, (voice by Taylor Swift), Ted Wiggins (voice by Zac Efron) a 12-year-old boy who lives in “Thneedville” ventures out of his plastic city to find a real tree.

Ted’s, Grammy Norma (voice by Betty White) secretly tells Ted the legend of the Once-ler ( voice by Ed Helms).   When Teds leaves to find the Once-ler he sadly discovers that the outside world is a contaminated, wasteland.  Through continued visits the Once-ler tells Ted his story.   Later, the Oncle-ler stumbles upon Truffula Tree Forest where the Lorax (voice by Danny DeVito) is the guardian of the Forest.   The Lorax has a strong environmental message.
