My husband and I attended the July 15th performance. Not what we expected ---- BETTER THAN WHAT WE EXPECTED!! It was not a complete run-through of Romeo and Juliet, but excerpts, with soliloquies/dialogues from many different plays. AND, we the audience were encouraged to pull slips of paper from a bowl, and read/perform the line written there, which were the lead-ins to various actors' performances! No stuffy, stuck-up actors, these! Passionate people giving impassioned performances! I can't wait to see the July 31st performance....and maybe even again in Greenport in August. Oh, and the Blanc Noir wine was delicious, as was the onion soup, and the olive/cheese/bacon platter. Excellent, gracious service. What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon!

Leslie R. -- I apologize about our weekend spotlight that listed Romeo and Juliet as the play for this past Sunday. But I'm glad you enjoyed the performance anyway — sounds like a great way to present Shakespeare! -- Erin
