A self-taught reader at only 18 months old, Spencer Mangan is an amazing kid, to be sure.
Spencer’s mom felt that his kindergarten school was a “poor fit” for her son, so she began the Community Home Education Program. Last year Spencer began attending Fusion Academy & Learning Center here in Mission Viejo two days a week while continuing his home schooling.
Now at just 11 years old, Spencer is working at a high school junior level in his math studies. He applied Euclidean geometry to construct mathematically accurate scale models of the Big Ben tower.
