This explosion of cuteness, whatever it's called, is arriving at the today, with tiny, cuddly, soft-furred, purring kittens mewing for new homes.

Some of the lovable scamps include Azucar and Sal, who are 9-week-old males and best friends described as "playful" and "affectionate."

All the kittens at the shelter are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and healthy, according to a city statement.

Folks at the center expect these kittens to pad off to their new homes quickly, so if you want one you'd better arrive early. The center serves Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo and Laguna Niguel.
