The Nuge will be rocking the in San Juan Capistrano on Thursday night.
High-octane 70s rocker Ted Nugent is perhaps best known for “Cat Scratch Fever.” But he's built a devoted audience through his National Rifle Association-friendly political books and his website tednugent.com, which promises Full Bluntal Nugity.
Inflammatory remarks he made earlier this month—that he’d be “dead or in jail by this time next year” if President Barack Obama wins re-election—apparently caught the attention of the Secret Service.
Nugent made the comments during an interview at the NRA convention in St. Louis, comparing Obama and his administration to "coyotes" that needed to be shot and encouraging voters to "chop [Democrats'] heads off in November,” according to the Huffington Post.
That was enough for promoters of a military concert in Fort Knox, Ky. to kick him out of the line-up. The show will go on with REO Speedwagon and Styx.
And Nuge has made plans for Thursday night right in our own back yard. The concert is sold out, according to the venue's website. But tickets may still be available at the box office, the site says.
