Congratulations Ben and All of MVHS Class of 2012!

I was proud to watch my son Ben and over 600 graduates of the Mission Viejo High Class of 2012 walk across the football field to receive their high school diplomas Thursday evening.

Despite a freeway accident and circling helicopter for several minutes during the opening ceremony, it was a beautiful evening of articulate  speakers and inspiring musical performances.

Ben is my youngest so this was my last graduation at Mission Viejo High School. I felt a touch of sadness, but mostly pride for both of my children and gratitude for the education they received throughout the years and this beautiful community.  Congratulations to the entire class of 2012!
