Vocational Visions to Honor Albertsons as Employer of the Year at Enchanted Evening Fundraiser

Vocational Visions will recognize Albertsons as Employer of the Year at their “An Enchanted Evening at the Kentucky Derby" fundraising event on Saturday, May 3 at the Irvine Marriott Hotel. All proceeds directly support the programs and services of Vocational Visions which provides vocational, economic and community inclusion services to adults with Intellectual, developmental and other disabilities.

Vocational Visions began partnering with Albertsons grocery stores over 20 years ago. They’ve facilitated employment opportunities for adult with disabilities at nine stores from seven cities including Irvine, Lake Forest, Ladera Ranch, Mission Viejo, Laguna Beach, Dana Point and San Clemente.

Albertsons is receiving this recognition for their commitment to diversity and for hiring Vocational Visions’ participants for long-term employment.  The company understands that reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities are worth the investment and Vocational Visions’ participants have received numerous employee awards for their loyalty and great customer service.
