Rocco the Boxer is Looking for a new Home

Boxer Rescue LA Orange County is looking to find a new home for Rocco, a boxer Rhodesian Ridgeback mix.

Boxer Rescue LA (Orange County) is an organization founded in 1977 that received non-profit status in May 1997. Boxer Rescue LA maintains two fully staffed kennels housing up to 100 Boxers. Dedicated volunteers run the marketing and adoption of Boxer Rescue LA boxers.

Rocco's Story...

Hi! My name is Rocco! I am a really nice boy. I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback head, a boxer body, and a great boxer wiggle!  I am a young strapping guy who would love an active outdoor lifestyle. Did I mention that I’m an excellent running partner? I run 5 miles daily with my foster dad, and he has to try and keep up with me. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not hyper or overwhelming at home. I’m happy snuggling too. I am great on leash and great with people.  I would do best with smaller dogs and have a couple of “fluffy” pals at daycare.  I could also do well with a larger dog with a proper intro. Ridgebacks may have been bred to hunt lions, but the boxer in me would be just as happy to watch an Animal Planet show about lions from the comfort of your lap.

"He is such a great dog and will make a fantastic family pet," said Boxer Rescue LA's Ethan Taylor. "Rocco absolutely loves everybody he meets and whoever adopts him will be very lucky to have him."
