Adoptable Boxers Looking to find new Homes

This week, Boxer Rescue LA Orange County is featuring our three adoptable boxers looking for their new homes: Charlie, Rocco, and Luna.

Charlie's Story...
Charlie will always be the biggest kid in the room. He has that puppy sense on innocence and just wants to have fun.  Kind folks saved him from his owners taking him to a shelter. Not before a less than perfect upbringing left him with a case of mange. Charlie is now well on his way to having a beautiful fawn coat again.  He is wonderful with dogs and people of all sizes.  The folk that have him love him to pieces but their ailing senior boxer girl needs her last days to be quiet and Charlie just wants to have fun.  Charlie would make the perfect family dog, chasing a ball, or the kids or other dogs until the cows come home.  This big ball of love is ready to join a family of his own. (See Photos of Charlie)

Rocco's Story...
Hi! My name is Rocco! I am a really nice boy. I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback head, a boxer body, and a great boxer wiggle!  I am a young strapping guy who would love an active outdoor lifestyle. Did I mention that I’m an excellent running partner? I run 5 miles daily with my foster dad, and he has to try and keep up with me. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not hyper or overwhelming at home. I’m happy snuggling too. I am great on leash and great with people.  I would do best with smaller dogs and have a couple of “fluffy” pals at daycare.  I could also do well with a larger dog with a proper intro. Ridgebacks may have been bred to hunt lions, but the boxer in me would be just as happy to watch an Animal Planet show about lions from the comfort of your lap. (See photos of Rocco)

Luna's Story...

Luna is unique in her looks. You cannot help but take notice of her one blue eye. You do not see many blue eyed Boxers, but just look at Luna. She loves people and has lived with her favorite kind of people: kids!. She came from a home that had too many dogs, but if you asked Luna she would have said “no big deal”.  Luna has been loving life as the center of attention as the only dog in a busy family. She is great with dogs in public and has social skills which may make a match depending on the other dog. It's always an individual choice. Luna is housebroken and also great with kids.  A stay at home mom with a revolving door of home activities would be heaven for Luna. She is easy to walk on leash and knows her basic commands.  A big family that keeps her busy would be perfect for this little blue eyes busy body. Luna's family that adopted her from BRLA and love her to pieces are being relocated to Saudia Arabia for work. Sadly Luna cannot go with them and they want her to have a family that loves her as much as they do. (See photos of Luna)
