Mmmm... Bacon Donut: Devilicious Opened Friday

Devilicious Donuts is officially open near Saddleback College.

There's a new donut shop in town, and they've got a different approach to America's favorite breakfast pastry.

Would you eat a bacon maple bar? How about a peanut butter and jelly donut?

Devilicious Donuts opened Friday at 28601 Marguerite Parkway near Saddleback College. Their grand opening is set for Sunday, Aug. 26.

Owner Omar Amin said they sold out their backroom inventory by 11:30 Friday morning.

It is a private organization, so what they do with their rules, is really their business.…Read More Homophobia is not against the law, especially since they are not involved in any discriminatory practices. That said, the fact they choose to air this out allows one to comment on it. As to why anyone would wanted their kid in such an organization is beyond me, but the tide is clear, and increasingly bigotry is being chipped away. So, to those kids who want to be part of this organization, I hope it brings them some joy. It is not as if there were no gays in the Boy Scouts before, it is just that they now can announce that they exist.

The last thing we need to do it bash their unions. We need to take a look at the leadership of the union but the vehicle of the union is all that stands between us and corporate greed.
