Photos: First Glimpse of New Farmers Market

Mission Viejo kicks off the new year with a healthy start and a new Farmers Market.

Mission Viejo's new farmers market hit the Civic Center Friday morning, providing the local residence with a source of healthy and sustainable food.

Mission Viejo is a Healthy Eating and Active Living (HEAL) city. The farmers market helps reach that goal by supporting the local economy with fresh produce and a variety of food items that are grown and produced locally.
