Customer Gets Lucky at Mission Viejo Chevron

One lucky customer walked out the door with five correct numbers in the SuperLotto Plus contest.

Someone got lucky at the Chevron on Los Alisos and Santa Margarita Parkway this week.

Between Saturday night and the Wednesday night drawing, someone picked five winning SuperLotto Plus numbers at the gas station across from Trabuco Hills High, according to state lottery officials.

That ticket was one of three that paid out $16,461 this week. Other winners were sold in Riverside and Bakersfield.

Although they all won, nobody got the sixth mega number that would have made someone a millionaire. That jackpot now rises to $11 million for the Saturday drawing.

So what are the chances of getting all five numbers? One in 41,416,353, according to the state lottery website.

Just for fun, here are some things that are more likely than getting all five numbers:

You are about as likely to be killed by a mountain lion in California (1 in 32 million) or contracting the human version of Mad Cow Disease (1 in 40 million).
