New Pizza Place Coming to North Mission Viejo this Summer

Independently owned and operated All Star Pizza is planning for a summer opening.

and could have a new neighbor this month. A new pizza place is being planned for Los Alisos and Trabuco on the site of the former hookah lounge .

All Star Pizza wants to bring family fun pizza back to 22902 Los Alisos, home to Ballpark Pizza in the 80s and 90s, said owner Salvatore Corrao.

Corrao remembers bringing his own children to Ballpark Pizza.

"It was always a comfortable, cheery place to go after a practice, game or meeting," he said.

The pizza place's hours will be 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on weeknights and will stay open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. The adjacent patio will close at 9 p.m. every night, Corrao said.

The Village Cafe was forced to move to Lake Forest because of noise complaints from neighbors from the slope above the location.

The pizza place also plans to sell beer and wine.

You can expect televised sports, video games and vending machines for kids at All Star Pizza, Corrao said. But don't plan on any live events like music or dancing, he said.
