Health inspectors closed Asian Pearl restaurant earlier this month after finding live and dead cockroaches in various locations.
Live bugs were found in gaps between sinks, under the cooler and between wall panels on Nov. 15. Dead ones were found beneath the freezer and storage shelves, and beneath a gap in the stainless steel table where the rice cooker is stored.
An exterminator treated the restaurant the same day.
Inspectors followed up Nov. 16 and allowed the restaurant to reopen. The owner said all surfaces were washed, rinsed and sanitized after the treatment, and cracks and gaps on tables, sinks and other spots were sealed.
