The Shops at Mission Viejo Revs Up for Two New Additions This Winter

Simon Property Group’s (NYSE: SPG) The Shops at Mission Viejo is excited to announce today that two new tenants will open their doors just in time to help with winter travel. A Tesla Motors store is expected to open mid-month, with Magellan’s Travel Supplies slated for an opening early next year, rounding out the newest additions to The Shops at Mission Viejo.

California-based Tesla Motors, maker of the award-winning all-electric Model S sedan, plans to open its 2,894-square foot retail space at The Shops at Mission Viejo on Friday, December 13, and will be located on the mall’s upper level near Center Court, across from Microsoft.

The Tesla store invites visitors to learn about electric driving with enticing visuals, interactive displays, and a design studio where customers can create their own Tesla. In addition, the Model S will also be available for visitors to test drive. Experience the thrilling driving experience of Motor Trend’s 2013 Car of the Year. Branded accessories will also be available for purchase.

Magellan’s Travel Supplies is slated to open a 3,130-square foot space on the mall’s upper level, near Forever 21. As a trusted source of travel supplies for nearly 25 years, Magellan’s specializes in travel gear and specialty luggage, including everything from comfort pillows and travel blankets to water purification and insect protection.
