Car Crashes Survived in Mission Viejo in 2012

It's a constant danger. Most of us risk car crashes every day.

Sadly too often these crashes are fatal. But here are some Mission Viejo accidents in which everyone involved survived.

It was a bad car crash, but it could've been worse.

A mom and her two sets of twins, ages 10 and 13, were reunited Thursday after their minivan was in a four-car crash in November at Oso and Marguerite. 

RESCUE: Man Pulled from Burning Land Rover

A driver is alive today thanks to a deputy and a bystander who pulled him from his burning Land Rover an instant before it became engulfed in flames.

The driver was rescued from his burning Land Rover near the Los Alisos/Marguerite intersection around 11:30 Thursday morning. He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Truck Fire Paralyzes North 5 at Crown Valley

Not exactly a car crash, but worth a mention. Two truck drivers stopped their big rig when they noticed flames coming from beneath them.

"He told me something was smelling inside," said Sikhdeeb Sandhu, who was seated in the truck while his brother-in-law drove.
