Hot, Hot Heat Predicted for Mission Viejo Monday

It's a hot one—but at least it will be drier today.

They say it's not the heat that gets to you, but the humidity.

If that's true, today could be a mixed blessing. The thermometer is predicted to climb up to 98 degrees today, and has already hit 91 degrees at 11 a.m. It should be hottest from 2-4 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

But the humidity should drop at the hottest time today, from 40 percent now down to about 26 percent at 2 p.m., the NWS says. That should come with a 10 MPH breeze.
