Do you use Alicia Parkway to get to and from the freeway? Frequent roadwork in the area has caused slowdowns all summer, and now Caltrans says the ramps will be completely shut down at night later this week.
Here's what to expect.
Northbound: The northbound off-ramp will be closed Thursday, Nov. 29, to Friday, Nov. 30, from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
Northbound and Southbound: The north and southbound off-ramps will be closed Friday, Nov. 30, to Saturday, Dec. 1, from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
It's all part of a $1.4-million interchange reconstruction announced last June. Workers are posting overhead signs, grinding and grooving pavement and overlaying the ramps with hot mix rubberized asphalt.
