Lane Closures on Marguerite and Oso

Watch out for these traffic choke points on Marguerite and Oso.

Need to get around town today? If you're driving along Marguerite or Oso, here are some traffic spots to avoid:

  • The right lane of northbound Marguerite from La Sierra to Felipe is closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for road work. The left lane of northbound Marguerite from Oso to Via Angelina will be closed from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for road work.
  • The right lane of westbound Oso from Market Place to Country Club will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for road work. The left lane of eastbound Oso from Country Club to Marguerite will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for road work.
Traffic Alert: The #2 lane northbound Marguerite from La Sierra to Felipe will be closed from 9am to 3pm for road work. 41 minutes ago     MissionViejoCA Mission Viejo   Traffic Alert: The #1 lane northbound Marguerite from Oso to Via Angelina will be closed from 10am to 3pm for road work. 57 minutes ago     MissionViejoCA Mission Viejo   Traffic Alert: The #3 lane westbound Oso from Market Place to Country Club will be closed from 9am to 4pm for road work. 58 minutes ago   MissionViejoCA Mission Viejo Traffic Alert: The #1 lane eastbound Oso from Country Club to Marguerite will be closed from 7am to 3pm for road work.

It is a private organization, so what they do with their rules, is really their business.…Read More Homophobia is not against the law, especially since they are not involved in any discriminatory practices. That said, the fact they choose to air this out allows one to comment on it. As to why anyone would wanted their kid in such an organization is beyond me, but the tide is clear, and increasingly bigotry is being chipped away. So, to those kids who want to be part of this organization, I hope it brings them some joy. It is not as if there were no gays in the Boy Scouts before, it is just that they now can announce that they exist.

And I wasn't…Read More bashing Chipotle, Charlie, I was bashing our collective notion that education is about "getting a better job." I was bashing our total disrespect for education and educators. The last thing we need to do it bash their unions. We need to take a look at the leadership of the union but the vehicle of the union is all that stands between us and corporate greed.

Dan, I read your blog about the Free Burrito for Teachers. I happen to support Chipotle, and own…Read More stock in them. One thing you need to research. THEY ARE NOT OWNED BY MCDONALDS ANYMORE!!! As I do agree, teachers are under paid, but offering something like Chipotle did is great. I think we need to bash their unions instead of great companies like Chipotle who are just offering a benefit.

Teens are frantically rushing to get to CVHS upper lot before it gets full. Every morning I see kids running red lights, speeding and weaving in and out of traffic with no regard for anyone else.
