Maria (Mies) Pais—who was a longtime Mission Viejo Company worker—died Jan. 9, according to The Orange County Register.
Pais was 84.
She was born and raised in the Netherlands and moved to the U.S., where she met and married her late husband Lou.
"She enjoyed her sweets and tea with her friends and her knitting club where quite often she had a scarf made for you," the Register said. "She always met you with her big Dutch blue eyes, smiling and ready to go."
Pais' life will be celebrated April 7, according to the Register.
