WATCHDOG: Psychiatrist and OBGYN Accused of Bad Practice

2012 in review: in Mission Viejo, a psychiatrist was punished for dating a patient, and a gynecologist was dinged for a medical mishap.

Professionals are expected to behave a little better than everyone else. They are put in positions of trust, so when they screw up, the public is supposed to know.

But how many people would have heard about these professional missteps if Patch hadn't reported it? Here are two professionals that got dinged for negligence and bad behavior in the line of work.

Psychiatrist Punished for Dating Patient

Scott Ispirescu, who practices at 27401 Los Altos, was punished for asking a female patient on a date and telling her to start seeing a new psychiatrist back in 2010, according to an allegation submitted to the state medical board.

But there are no notes saying he referred her to another psychiatrist or stopped treating her, according to the accusation.

Gynecologist Accused of Robotic Surgery Mistakes

A Mission Viejo doctor was accused in August of major mistakes during two robotic surgeries. The accusations could cost him his medical license.

During one surgery, Dr. Aram Bonni is accused of removing a cyst discovered while he operated on a 78-year-old woman's vaginal hernia in 2010.

There is a reason why sites like Patch 2.0 don't look good on Shripathi's Kindle-whatever screen,Read More but these sites do look great on the iPhone in Portrait for Landscape view. I'll be writing a post about that. If you're a business owner with a web site, you need to understand the reason in order to save money on your site.

The Bible also tells us that there were magicians who filled Egypt with blood, just like YahwehRead More helped Moses do. As to why magicians would fill the Nile (drinking supply), and their own country with blood, and stink it all up just to put Yahweh in his place is anyone's guess. Maybe this psychic can ask one of those magicians and let us know.
