Weekend Weather to Turn Wet

Scattered showers are expected through Monday, but Christmas should be sunny.

Holiday travelers will get wet this year in Southern California. Those scrooges at the National Weather Service are calling for a series of quick and small rain storms to pass through Southern California.

It’s likely to rain Saturday night, clear out Sunday, rain on Christmas Eve and then stop raining again on Christmas Day.

Tonight: Isolated showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 48. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Sunday: A 30 percent chance of rain after 4pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 61. Calm wind becoming southeast around 5 mph in the morning.

Sunday night: Rain, mainly after 10pm. Low around 48. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

Monday: Showers, mainly before 10am. High near 61. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

Monday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 46. East wind around 5 mph.
Christmas Day Mostly sunny, with a high near 63.

Tuesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 44.
