The Ford Petersen Foundation raises funds and supports different animal

causes in California. Ford loved animals, and he wanted to do anything he could
to help all kinds of animals. He also loved his golf. But most importantly, he
loved his friends. So, this charitable event is a time for everyone to come
together to honor Ford’s memory, enjoy each other’s company and play some golf -
all for a great cause!

The Pet Rescue Center’s goal is to work with the communities of California,

shelters, veterinarians and animal rescue groups to save the lives of dogs and
cats at risk of euthanasia due to overpopulation through education, spay/neuter
and rescue programs. In this effort, they provide a no-kill, veterinary
supervised temporary sanctuary for these pets while they work to locate an
adopting family.
