Saddleback Valley Toastmasters Open House

Whatever you thought of Toastmasters, think again!  Whether you are looking for a way to get ahead at work, wanting to gain a better mastery of English or preparing for a special event such as a wedding speech, Toastmasters can help.

A Toastmasters meeting is a learn-by-doing workshop in which participants hone their speaking and leadership skills in a non-pressure atmosphere.  There is no instructor.  Club members evaluate one another's presentations and this feedback process is a key part of the program's success.

Yes, we do present speeches, but we do so much more! Toastmasters is Where Leaders Are Made.  We instill confidence. We teach time management and show you how to run a successful meeting.  We increase and decrease your vocabulary. (By that, we mean we help you get rid of the ah's, um's and you know's and add in words such as alchemy, nostalgia and shambolic.) Most importantly, we have fun!

Come visit Saddleback Valley Toastmasters, one of the fastest growing clubs in Orange County, at our Open House on Tuesday, April 8th.  Meetings start promptly at 7 p.m. at the Carrow's in Laguna Hills, but we urge you to come a little early and have some appetizers in honor of our Open House.  For more information, email us at SVTM2657@gmail.com or visit our site at http://SVTM.ToastmastersClubs.org.
