Spring is in the Air, No it is “Up in the Air”- Margot Ferron

Free Up in the Air event.

“Up in the Air-Mission Viejo Takes Flight” is a family, free event that includes crafts, disc-dog shows, entertainment, exhibitors, food, remote controlled planes, and synchronized kites to music.

It takes place on Sat., March 16 from 10 am to 3 pm on the grass next to the Norman Murray Community Center, 24932 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.

“Perfection on Wheels,” a bicycle stunt team will perform three shows at 11 am, 1 pm and 2:15 pm.  You won’t want to miss extreme athletes on bikes flying high, spiraling and flipping in the air.  Check out those crazy stunts: boomerang, tailwhip, can can, no footed can, one hander, Superman –just to name a few.

Don’t forget to look up. You just might see a whirlybird otherwise known as the OC Sheriffs Departments helicopter.  Helicopters take off and land vertically giving them the ability to fly in the most congested and isolated areas.  Be there to see what they can do.

Bring your camera to capture some breathtaking memories- birds, bubbles, jugglers, kites, planes, a stilt walker and more.
