The City of Mission Viejo is hosting the screening of “The Weight of the Nation”, a documentary series focusing on the obesity epidemic at 6 pm today, Oct. 3 at Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center.  The event is free.  

Obesity is dramatically affecting our heath and healthcare system. The statistics are staggering-31.7 % of our children and adults ages 2 years old to 19 years old are overweight, 68% of adults over 20 years old and older are overweight.

There will a discussion and question & answer following the screening.  You will receive materials and tips on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
