Walkability Wake-Up Expo 2012- learn to walk safely and how to prevent falls.
On Wed., Sept 26, 2012 the City of Mission Viejo and Down with Falls Coalition invites you to attend the 4th Annual Walkability Wake-Up Expo 2012 from 8 am -2 pm. Learn how to walk safely and to reduce the risk of falling.
The expo is at Norman P. Murray Community Center, 24932 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo, CA 92692. It will include exhibitor displays, complimentary breakfast, give aways and much more. The event is free to the public. Register at the event.
The Walkie Talkies will lead the walk on the Oso Trail at 8 am. After the walk, a professional trainer will demonstrate the proper use of the outdoor equipment. Later there will be educational presentations and health screenings.

The Walkie Talkies are a group of walkers that have been meeting in front of Norman P. Murray for more than 10 years regardless of rain, shine or holiday every Mon., Wed. and Fri. at 8 am. Join them to walk anytime.
