The Second Time Around Jewelry/Accessory Sale is a unique shopping experience which provides its customers with a beautiful collection of jewelry as well as the ability to donate 100% of their sales to benefit the American Cancer Society. We have gently used jewelry of all kinds–antiques, bracelets, earrings, necklaces and rings we have accepted for this worthy cause. Plus, accessories such as scarves, hats, handbags, belts will be sold to raise money to support Relay for Life/ Mission Viejo. Whether you are looking for a one of a kind necklace to wear with a simple black dress or a trendy pair of earrings, the sale offers a dazzling selection that will transform any wardrobe. Giving back to the community is extremely important. A key component to the jewelry sale is its fundraising aspect. This has been an opportunity for the community to share their love of jewelry with their passion for helping others. “Our goal is to beat last year’s efforts and help rid cancer in our lifetime,” said Barbara Kroe, Community Services Specialist. “We can do it if you help us!” It's simple! The city of Mission Viejo will be participating in American Cancer Society Relay for Life on June 1 and 2, 2013 at Saddleback College track, 28000 Marguerite Pkwy, MV, 92691. Relay for Life is a free, family-friendly, event celebrating cancer survivors and honoring those who have lost their lives. The event attracts more than 1,500 supporters who are strongly committed to the fight against cancer. They raise funds and take to the track in honor of loved ones affected by cancer.
