Let Us Entertain You at the 20th Relay For Life/Mission Viejo

In 1994, the City of Mission Viejo joined the fight against cancer with other communities at Saddleback College in the American Cancer Society’s 20th Relay For Life.  Linda Lindholm, currently Mayor for Laguna Niguel and State Senator Mimi Walters were the first Co-Event Chairs.

Every year since an enthusiastic group of volunteers unite in their fight against cancer.    They rally, plan parties to celebrate survivors and remember loved ones that lost their battles.

Relay For Life will return to Saddleback College, 28000 Marguerite Pkwy, MV, 92691 on June 7 from 9 am to June 8, 2014 at 9 am.  The day is packed with entertainment, music, kid’s zone, free movies, Zumba, etc.

This year Relay for Life/ Mission Viejo celebrates its 20th anniversary as we proudly look back on a legacy of fighting cancer, “One City, One Dream, 20 Years of Relay.”

In the next two weeks, please look for articles on our dedicated entertainers and a schedule of the entertainment for the event.  In some way or another  the entertainers have been affected by cancer.  They are sharing their talents with us in an effort to support our community’s dedication to end this disease.
