The City is offering lifeguard training for The American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification, First Aid, AED and CPR classes. It will at the Montanoso Recreation Center, 25800 Montanoso Drive, Mission Viejo, 92691.
The training will be held in three, 3 day sessions this month and in May. Classes will be held 4:30 to 9 pm on Friday, April 24, Saturday and Sunday, April 26-27 from 8 m to 6:30 pm and May 16-18, 2104.
Participants will learn a variety of lifesaving rescue skills needed to respond to aquatic emergencies for the professional rescuer training and certification.

Those who are interested in participating must be 15 years of age and be able to pass a swimming and skills test. Cost for the certification class is $175 which includes all course materials.
