Mondays are Movie Magic- Margot Ferron

Here’s something to be excited about!  Every Monday at 12:45 pm there is a free movie at Norman Murray Community & Senior Center as long as the center is open.   NPM is closed on most national holidays.

Upcoming showings include:  Les Miserables, July 1; The Impossible, July 8; Playing For Keeps, July 15;  Zero Dark Thirty, PG- July 22; and Oz Great & Powerful, July 29.

What a great opportunity to see movies you missed, socialize and relax.  Enjoy the masterful, colorful, exciting world of the movies for free.  Come after lunch or have lunch at the center.

Les Misérables is a 2012 British musical/drama that runs for 158 minutes. The film is based on the musical of the same name.  The 1862 French novel by Victor Hugo, stars an ensemble cast led by Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway and Amanda Seyfried

It tells the story of Jean Valjean, (Hugh Jackman), an ex-convict who becomes mayor of a town in France.  Valjean is exposed and agrees to take care of Cosette, (Isabelle Allen) the illegitimate daughter of the dying Fantine,( Anne Hathaway), but as a fugitive he must avoid being captured again by police inspector Javert, (Russell Crowe). The plot spans 17 years and is set against a backdrop of political turmoil.
