Summer's Beloved Cello Concert

Summer is here, which means it is time….. to be entertained by the crème de la crème of cellist students at Norman P.  Murray Community Center, 23492 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo, 92691.  Everyone is welcome to join us on Thurs., July 24 at 3 pm to hear these advanced students from the Pioneer School of Music in Tustin.

Student cellists attend an intense, seven-hour-a day, four-week program by the National Cello Institute Advanced Residency Program that is co-sponsored by the Music Institute of Chicago.  They play at various venues throughout Southern California.

Did you know that the bow is to the cellist is like the voice is to a singer.  Often times the cello is too valuable and treasured to check into the baggage and so big that it requires an extra seat.

Find out what's happening in Mission Viejowith free, real-time updates from Patch.

In addition, there will be sweet treats.  Advanced tickets are required for $3.  Please call 949/470-3062 for more information.
