  • Darius Porter was a very good man. For those that didn't know him Darius was great, he loved his family and he loved his friends, he was an amazing basketball player and was extremely nice. Nobody will ever understand what he went threw to have this happen to him. I pray for his mom and dad that have to say goodbye to their son way too soon. I know as a friend of the family that they are going through it, so please pray for them.Darius was one of my best friends in high school and it hurts SO bad.

  • Darius was such an amazing guy. None of this makes sense. I went to high school with him, we had a few classes together. Everyday his smile lit up the room! He always was happy and made little jokes. I have so many memories I will forever cherish. Prayers go out to his family and everyone involved. We all love you Darius and you will always be forever in our hearts<3

  • I had a few classes with Darius in high school. He was always very sweet and mild mannered which is why I'm so dumbfounded by all of this. My thoughts are with his family and close friends.
