Bristol Palin received harsh treatment at the Saddle Ranch in West Hollywood, and it wasn't from the mechanical bull she was riding.
A 47-year-old man called her out during the filming of a reality TV show. She boldly answered back in front of a team of cameramen. During the confrontation, the angry man stood at a bar and hurled epithets and nasty words about both Bristol and her mother, Sarah Palin.
If this girl had any last name besides Palin, the mainstream media would be falling all over themselves to report this story. They'd want to have this lovely, compassionate and tolerant liberal man drug over the coals, and then let him serve as fertilizer for some tree-hugging vegan's organic garden.
Bristol handled herself with a lot of class in this case, I think. She was way more mature than I would be if someone hurled those epithets at me about my mother. I would have hauled off and clocked the ignorant, angry bald guy right in the jaw.
Bristol is out doing her job to support her child. First, she chose to have a child as a teenager rather than choosing abortion. She is supporting him and making the best out of the situation that she put herself in.
Would people be happier if she hung her head in shame and went on welfare? She was thrust into public at a horrible time for anyone—unwed and pregnant—yet she is doing good under pressure and scrutiny that most would crumble beneath.
This angry, belligerent, old buffoon attacked a 21-year-old over his hate of her mother! And when questioned about why he hated her, he couldn’t even give a legit answer. He must have figured he couldn’t really take on the elder Palin herself, because he clearly recognized his intellectual limitations and tried to take up his beef with her daughter. Funny thing is, Bristol promptly put him in his place.
It absolutely does not matter what you think of Sarah Palin. If you have an issue with her take it up with her—leave her kids alone. This man’s behavior was atrocious. He doesn’t even have enough of a clue to have a reason for his anger and hate, which is so amusing because the people that are so hateful to this family are the same people that want love and tolerance for all. Just a tad bit hypocritical. Just be decent to each other no matter what you think of someone’s politics, right?
I realize my view is not popular, however the point is valid. This young woman was attacked while out doing her job. Yes, the babbling idiot has a right to what he says. But that doesn’t make how he said it right.
Here is a tip to you Palin haters: If you senselessly blather on about your hatred for Ms. Palin, at least educate yourself on one valid reason why you hate her. Do a little research, so when questioned you don’t look like Mr. Jackwagon in the video, and get completely owned by someone barely old enough to walk onto a casino floor.
In the last three years since Palin was selected as vice presidential candidate, I have actually met two people that backed up their hatred with points that carried validity to them other than more profanity. But dozens of others sound (not as bad) but very much like this ignoramus.
He is clueless and is just a serial hater and is ignorant as to why he hates them, just a lame lame lame man
That being said, the list of idiotic things Sarah Palin says would have grown had she talked about the "intercontinental" railroad. It WAS however spoken of by President Obama but I don't see anyone starting an idiot list for him. Why isn't that stupid? I don't defend Sarah Palin but I don't defend the President either. Apparently the same segment of the press that highlights Palin's gaffes doesn't notice the president's.
A family member of Bristol's is my child's teacher and it is acceptable for someone in Bristol's community to rein her back to societal norms Whereas, you are only contributing to the salacious gossip and participating in the juicy side of journalism that is only concerned with judgments that will sell ads, not in actual reporting that supports your own community. In other words, what is your investment in Bristol Palin? Nothing. What is my relationship to Bristol Palin? Community. .
