Elks Lodge Public Relations at Work in the Community

Mission Viejo / Saddleback Valley Elks Lodge No. 2444 ("Elks Lodge") Public Relations Co-Chairman Andy Costello was invited to be guest speaker at a recent breakfast meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Mission Viejo. The topic was “Elks in the Community.”

Costello said, “The Kiwanis Club members were interested in Elks Lodge membership and the workings of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. All were complimentary of the Elk’s good works and of the considerable media attention our Lodge manages to receive.” He added, “The assemblage of obviously well-read and well-informed Kiwanis members consisted of retired school principals, teachers and community business men and women. They made an attentive and friendly audience, asking many questions about our Elks Lodge. I was also pleased to see three familiar Elks Lodge faces among the sixteen people present at the meeting.”

Costello encouraged all in attendance to consider following the example of those members, by carrying dual memberships as both Kiwanians and Elks. He also invited them to visit our Elks Lodge as guests. “Elks Care ~ Elks Share”.
