Police were told that $7,000 was stolen from a vehicle on the 23100 block of Stoneridge.
The call came in Sunday at 2:25 p.m.

10:46 a.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstances, : A man was begging near the hospital entrance.
10:22 a.m. Petty Theft, Alicia Parkway and Po Avenue: A backflow valve was stolen. The city previously announced there have been a rash of backflow valve thefts.
2:24 a.m. Traffic Hazard, Marguerite Parkway and Jeronimo Road: Water was flooding the road from the center divider.
12:29 a.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstances, Alicia Parkway and Calle Azorin: A man was sitting in the middle of the street.
MONDAY
8:57 p.m. Vandalism, 25500 block Budapest Avenue
3:28 p.m. Illegal Peddling, 26200 block Via Juanita: A door-to-door salesman threatened to return to a resident's home for a fight.
10:25 a.m. Vandalism, 27900 block Gallina: Someone found their fence removed.
9:59 a.m. Keep the Peace, Marguerite Parkway and Tres Vista: A man using GPS to track his stolen laptop asked police to help when he spotted its signal in Mission Viejo.
9:17 a.m. Pedestrian Check, Winterberry and Spring Tree: A mortgage banker was arrested and held on $15,000 bail at Central Mens Jail.
SUNDAY
10:35 p.m. Petty Theft, 22900 block Via Nuez: Bikes were reported stolen.
9:42 p.m. Citizen Assist, 22300 block Amber Rose: A man was seen kicking his dog. It was unknown if the dog was injured.
3:04 p.m. Citizen Assist, 24600 block Sadaba: A woman was surprised to find a machete among her property. She said she was afraid because someone would have had to walk onto her property to place it there.
