At Bus Stop: Long-Haired Man Wearing Sport Coat but No Pants

The following is a selection of calls from Mission Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department from May 20-24.

A caller said a man with long black hair, wearing a white tank top and a black sport coat, was standing by the bus stop without pants on.

The indecent-exposure call was made at 9:11 p.m. Friday at the intersection of El Paseo and Cabot Road.

Burglary alarm—audible. 1:21 p.m. Tuesday. 24600 block of Canela.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 11:56 a.m. Tuesday. Via Oviedo and Via Navarra.

Disturbance. 5:50 a.m. Tuesday. 24900 block of Via Florecer. A caller said her boyfriend kicked in the door to her apartment.

Welfare check. 8:24 p.m. Monday. Alicia Parkway and Jeronimo Road. Police doing a welfare check arrested a 46-year-old man and placed him in custody at Central Men’s Jail on $41,500 bail.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 6:36 p.m. Monday. Via Bahia and Trabuco Road. A caller said six to eight kids with bags were loitering by the water tower.

Vandalism report. 9:16 a.m. Monday. 24500 block of Alicia Parkway. A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of vandalism and was placed in custody at Central Men’s Jail on $100,000 bail.

Disturbance. 6:38 p.m. Sunday. 26000 block of Del Rey. Police responding to a disturbance call arrested a 24-year-old man and placed him in custody at Central Men’s Jail. He was released when he posted bail.

Disturbance. 9:25 p.m. Sunday. 28000 block of Marguerite Parkway. A caller said a man with a Mohawk who was dressed in black was getting hit with a belt by a woman he was fighting with.

Petty theft. 4:46 p.m. Sunday. 27000 block of Crown Valley Parkway. Police arrested a 22-year-old woman on suspicion of petty theft and placed her in custody at Orange County Jail.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 9 p.m. Saturday. Santa Margarita Parkway and Marguerite Parkway. A caller said a bicyclist wearing a red shirt and jeans appeared intoxicated as he was swerving into traffic lanes and was almost struck by a vehicle.

Assist outside agency. 10:57 a.m. Saturday. 27400 block of Camden. Police arrested a 19-year-old man and placed him in custody at Central Men’s Jail without bail.

Suspicious person in vehicle. 2:44 a.m. Saturday. Oso Parkway and Montanoso Drive. Police responding to a suspicious person report arrested a 20-year-old woman and placed her in custody at Orange County Jail, where she was cited and released.

Traffic stop. 12:40 a.m. Saturday. Los Alisos Boulevard and Jeronimo Road. A 29-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop and was placed in custody at Central Men’s Jail and was released when he posted bail.

Traffic accident—unknown injuries. 10:45 p.m. Friday. Marguerite Parkway and Vista del Lago. Police responding to a traffic accident arrested a 25-year-old man and placed him in custody at Orange County Jail, where he was cited and released.

Burglary in progress. 11:09 p.m. Friday. La Quilla Lane and Consuelo Place. A caller said he caught a man trying to break into his truck who then ran after being seen.

Suspicious person/circumstances. 9:21 p.m. Friday. 26400 block of Via Roble. A caller said that a man and a woman were sleeping at the house of a friend who is in rehab but that no one was supposed to be in the house.
