Bicyclist Fattally Struck on Christmas Eve IDs by Coroner's Office
He is identified as 82-year-old Peter Tomaino of Laguna Hills.
An 82-year-old bicyclist fatally struck by a car in Laguna Hills on Christmas Eve was identified Wednesday by the Orange County Coroner's Office.
Peter Tomaino, a local man, collided with a vehicle on Paseo de Valencia, just south of Alicia Parkway, about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to the coroner's office and Orange County sheriff's Lt. Jeff Hallock.
Tomaino was declared dead at a hospital.

The driver was not suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, Hallock said.
