Police Arrest Man Seen With Gun

What crime incidents were reported in your neighborhood? Find out here. The following is a selection of calls from Mission Viejo to the Orange County Sheriff's Department from Nov. 25-29.

Police arrested a 34-year-old mortgage broker and took him into custody at Central Men’s Jail on $10,000 bail after a caller reported a man with a shaved head standing with a gun inside a parking lot, Sunday, near the 25500 block of Jeronimo Road.

The brandishing a weapon report was made around 12:04 a.m.

Assault Report.  4:55 p.m.  Monday.   25800 block Triton Court.

Vandalism report.  8:21 a.m.  Monday. 26000 block Merit Circle.

Suspicious person in vehicle. 11:12 p.m. Sunday.  26900 block Zancon. A resident said a man riding in a black vehicle was doing heroin directly under his balcony.

Disturbance. 7:30 p.m. Sunday. 23100 block Poplar. Sheriff deputies responding to a disturbance call arrested a 32-year-old man and took him into custody at Central Men’s Jail on $10,000 bail.

Disturbance. 4:37 p.m. Sunday. 26900 block Jasper. A caller said a woman walking her dog without a leach spat at him after confronting her.

Suspicious person in vehicle. 10:26 p.m. Saturday. 24100 block Zancon. A caller said several cars that were parked in a nearby school’s parking lot was honking their horns, citing that it’s an ongoing problem.

Disturbance.  3:33 p.m. Saturday. Marguerite Parkway and Santa Margarita Parkway. A caller said a woman in her 50s, pushing a shopping cart, was throwing things.

Suspicious person in vehicle. 10:31 p.m. Friday 28800 block Greenacres. A resident said someone riding in a black car knocked on their door and ran back, but remained parked in front of their home.

Suspicious vehicle.  9:04 p.m. Friday Felipe Road and Tamarind. A caller said five kids were drinking alcohol inside a black Audi that was parked near the park.

Suspicious person/circumstances. Friday  4:44 p.m. 27300 block Compostela. A resident said a man in his 30s was carrying an umbrella on his waistband as he walked on the slope behind the homes adjacent to Buscaderos.
