Blotter: Teen Breaks in, Smashes Glass Door

A teenager broke into a house on Acropolis Monday.

After spotting a 16-year-old boy who had broken into the home by shattering the rear sliding glass door, a resident called police at 10:30 a.m. Monday.

The call came from the 24600 block of Acropolis.

The teen was described as 5'5" and thin, wearing black clothes.

12:07 p.m. Assist Outside Agency, 23700 block Maquina: A woman suffered hand and eye injuries as a possible result of being choked during a case of felony domestic violence.

11:32 a.m. Disturbance-Family Dispute, 21900 block Calabaza: A resident called police when their aunt's dog ran amuck inside their home.

8:09 a.m. Suspicious Person/Circumstances, 26000 block Marguerite Parkway: A worker came to a bank only to find keys left in the door. The worker asked police to check the bank out before going inside.

8:07 a.m. Traffic Hazard, Oso Parkway and Marguerite Parkway: Traffic lights were not phasing properly, keeping vehicles in the intersection for the past three phases.

7:51 a.m. Traffic Accident, Buscador and Felipe Road: A resident witnessed a three-car crash.

7:41 a.m. Vandalism, 27400 block Bellogente: A woman came out to her car to find a broken windshield.

2:22 p.m. Citizen Assist, 26800 block Crown Valley Parkway: A man told police someone stole his prescription drugs.

10:03 a.m. Burglary in Progress, 23500 block Via El Rocio: A blind resident said someone came into the home, then left in a vehicle.

8:57 a.m. Assist Outside Agency, 27300 block Padilla: Animal control was called on two agressive pit bulls.

7:13 a.m. Suspicious Circumstances, 27100 block Jeronimo: Someone spotted unignited flares left in the roadway that spelled something out.
